This breadth also allows us to provide government and regulators with an authoritative voice on the challenges facing real estate, and how the sector can help strengthen communities across the country.
We deliver our mission by collaborating with national and local government and wider partners; by promoting knowledge, innovation and best practice within the industry; and by showcasing our members’ achievements to ensure the diversity and value of our sector are better understood.
Creating an Industry Powerhouse
Members of AREF, BPF, SPF and IPF overwhelmingly vote to create Real Estate:UK
Launching on 1 January 2026, Real Estate:UK (RE:UK) will serve as a unified convenor and voice for the whole of the real estate sector, bringing together institutional and private investors, property companies, developers, asset owners, managers and advisers.
Its work will focus on six key pillars:
- Advocacy
- Research and data
- Thought leadership and innovation
- Networking and events
- Upskilling and training
- Standards and guidance
This is an exciting milestone and a strong endorsement of a shared vision for a unified and powerful voice for real estate in the UK.
Real Estate:Scotland (RE:Scotland) will spearhead the new organisation's work in Scotland and will be launched following the Scottish Parliament election in May 2025.
